In December 2023, the import value reached US$19,107.1 million, down US$479.4 million (2.45 percent) compared to the previous month. On the other hand, import volume rose 10.08 percent to 20,198.9 thousand tons. The import value for December 2023 consists of oil and gas imports of US$3,372.4 million (17.65 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$15,734.7 million (82.35 percent) Imports from January to December 2023 were dominated by China at USD 62,880.9 million (28.34 percent), followed by Singapore at USD 18,409.6 million (8.30 percent), and Japan at USD 16,516.9 million (7.44 percent). X1The unloading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main unloading place for imported goods in Indonesia worth USD 100,956.2 million (45.50 percent).
