Paddy Harvested Area and Production in Indonesia 2022

The availability of timely and accurate agricultural data is the foundation for realizing well-targeted agricultural policies. Based on the results of the KSA Survey, in 2022, the paddy harvested area reach around 10.45 million hectares or an increase of 40.87 thousand hectares (0.39 percent) compared to 2021. Meanwhile, paddy production in 2022 is 54.75 million tons of GKG. If converted to rice, rice production in 2022 is around 31.54 million tons, or an increase of 184.50 thousand tons (0.59 percent) compared to rice production in 2021.
