Sugarcane plantations in Indonesia are divided into large plantations (PB) and people's plantations (PR). Large Plantations consist of Large State Plantations (PBN) and Large Private Plantations (PBS). The area of ​​sugarcane for PBN in 2020 has decreased by 174 hectares (0.31 percent), so that the area of ​​sugarcane in 2020 will be 56.68 thousand hectares. Meanwhile, an increase will occur in 2021 when compared to 2020, which is 2,700 hectares (4.76 percent) from 56.86 thousand hectares to 59.38 thousand hectares. in 2020 sugar production was 2.12 million tons, decreased by 103.65 thousand tons (4.65 percent) compared to 2019. Then in 2021 it increased again by 224.93
