Import Unit Value Index 2021

The import commodity price index in general is a description of the development of Indonesian imported commodity prices per unit weight (kg) which is compiled based on the calculation of the price index according to the eight-digit Harmonized System (HS) code. The 2021 import commodity price index uses the base year 2018 (2018=100) and the calculation formula is the Fisher Index. In 2021, which is still the year of the pandemic, Indonesia's import trade is slowly increasing. Import statistics show an increase in the volume, value and price of commodities. Most of the imported commodity groups experienced price increases as reflected in the increase in the average unit value index.
