Indonesia Foreign Trade Statistics Exports 2020, Volume I

Publication of Foreign Trade Statistics (Exports) 2020 is an annual publication published by BPS–Statistics Indonesia. The main source of export data is obtained from the Directorate General of Customs and Excise consisting of documents on Export of Goods (PEB). Other data sources are obtained from PT. Pos Indonesia, records of other relations at the border, and the results of data collection on export in the sea border area. The grouping of commodities in this publication uses the Harmonized Systems (HS) 2017 code so that they can be compared internationally. Data is presented in units of net weight (kilograms) and FOB values ​​(US dollars) which are specified by commodity and destination country. In 2020 Indonesia's export value reached US$163,191.8 million, decreased by 2.68 percent compared to 2019. 94.94 percent of the total value of Indonesia's exports (US$154,940.8 million) were non-oil and gas commodities and 5.06 percent (US$8,251.1 million) were oil and gas commodities. Exports of oil and gas are dominated by natural gas commodities, while exports of non-oil and gas are dominated by manufacturing commodities.
