Abstract

Publication of Financial Institutions Statistics 2020 is an annual publication published by BPS-Statistics Indonesia. Information in this publication is obtained from the Survey of Financial Institutions collected in mid 2020 and covered all provinces in Indonesia. Survey of Financial Institutions covers five types of Financial Institution’s activities, namely: money changers and cooperatives which focus on business of savings and loan. However, data on savings and loan cooperatives is presented separately on the publication of Savings and Loan Cooperatives Statistics 2020. This publication also presents a compilation of secondary data for other financial institution activities. These activities include banking, multifinance institutions, pawnshops, insurance, pension funds, and fintech.The data presented in this publication, among others, are profile of each financial institutions, balance sheets, and financial ratios. To consider that this publication still needs some improvements, therefore, constructive suggestions from all stakeholders are expected to improve the quality of publications in the future.Great appreciation and thanks to all parties involved in drafting this publication, especially to the Financial Institution Corporate managers who have been willing to respond and fill out the questionnaire properly and quickly. Hopefully this publication is beneficial for data users.
