Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports October 2020

In October 2020 the import value reached USD10,786.0 million, a decrease of 6.78 percent (USD784.1 million) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume decreased 6.14 percent to 12,091.6 thousand tons. The import value of October 2020 consists of oil and gas USD1,078.8 million (10.00 percent) and non-oil and gas USD9,707.2 million (90.00 percent). The three main importing countries were occupied by China with USD31,274.3 million (27.32 percent), followed by Singapore with USD10,186.0 million (8.90 percent), and Japan with USD8,846.2 million (7.73 percent) . Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia with a share of 50.58 percent (USD57,898.4 million).
