Report on Designated Index of Stunting Reduction 2018-2019

The Government of Indonesia has put the acceleration of stunting reduction as one of its national priority. As a follow up, the designated index on stunting reduction is designed to assist the government in formulating better policies on stunting interventions. Several crucial improvements have been taken to develop this index through improving its methodology, adding more variables and dimensions, and its calculation as mandated by a group of experts on health, nutrition, education and related sectors. The completion of the index is also a part of agreement between The Government of Indonesia(BPS- Statistics Indonesia and The Office of Vice President's Secretariat) and The World Bank on INEY, especially in fulfilling the DLI 8 for year 2020.
