Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports January 2020

In December 2019 the value of imports reached USD14,268.7 million, down 1.64 percent (USD238.1 million) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume fell 14.98 percent to 12,143.6 thousand tons. The January 2020 import value consisted of oil and gas imports of USD 1,987.1 million (13.93 percent) and non-oil and gas USD 12,281.6 million (86.07 percent). The three main countries of origin of imports of China were USD3,997.6 million (28.03 percent), followed by Singapore at USD1,441.4 million (10.10 percent), and Japan USD1,096.4 million (7.50 percent) . While the unloading ports in the DKI Jakarta Province are still the main unloading places for imported goods in Indonesia with a portion of 52.34 percent (USD7,468.5 million).
