Achieving sustainable improvement in people’s welfare is the goal of various programs and policies prepared by the government. One of the main focuses is national development to achieve food sovereignty. Therefore, data and statistical information are needed as a basis for policy making. The National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) was carried out by BPS to collect data on various aspects of fulfilling life needs such as food, clothing, shelter, education and health periodically. This data is a source for calculating various indicators, such as poverty, income gap, and food security.
