One of the main goals of livestock subsector development is improving livestock popula on and its products, to meet domes c demand in order to achieve self-suffi ciency in meat, increase the per capita consump on of animal protein, and so on.
The collec on of quarterly data in RPH / TPH is an eff ort to get an es mate of the numbers required for the produc on of meat consump on, gain slaughtering parameters as One of base of livestock popula on projec ons, forecasts leather produc on, as well as the basis for calcula ng Na onal Income from Livestock Subsector and so on.

Data collec on conducted by complete enumera on in Indonesia, with quarterly collec on periods. The implementa on of the fi eld is set as follows: First Quarter : The period data January until March, collected on early April Second Quarter : The period data April until June, collected on early July Third Quarter : The period data July until September, collected on early October Fourth Quarter : The period data October until December, collected on early January next year.
