Abstract
ABSTRACT
Fisheries is an agricultural sub-sector that has an important role in meeting the consumption and nutrition needs of the people in Indonesia. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) collects data on fish production landed at the Traditional Wharf (PIT) site. This place is not included in one of the Fisheries Port categories, is still traditional in character (generally there is no permanent dock, the landing scale is still small, managed by the local community, can be public property or individuals). There are 670 traditional wharf (PIT) in Indonesia. From 670 places, 383 places have no management, 240 places are managed by groups / individuals, and 47 places are managed by the fisheries service. The amount of PIT according to the levy collectors is divided into 5 parties, namely Regional Government, Fisheries Service, Private Sector, KUB (Joint Business Group), and Others such as illegal levies, etc. Of the 62 PIT sites, 48 percent were collected by the Department of Fisheries. In 2017, the volume of marine fishery production landed in the PIT was 6.14 million quintals. While the production value is 10.02 Trillion.
