Indonesia Foreign Trade Statistics Exports 2017, Volume II

Publication of Indonesian Foreign Trade Statistics (Exports) 2017 is a continuation of the previous year publication. The main source of export data is obtained from Customs Office in the form of Export Declaration Documents (PEB). Another data sources come from PT. Pos Indonesia, other border institution records, and sea border survey. The commodity grouping in this publication uses Harmonized Systems (HS) 2017, hence it can be compared internationally. Data is presented in nett weight (Kg) and FOB value (US$) that broken down by commodity and country of destination.

Indonesian exports in 2017 reached US$168,828.2 million, increased significantly compared to prrevious year, i.e 16.28 percent. From the total exports value, 90.67 percent (US$153,083.8 million) was the export of non oil and gas commodities and 9.33 percent (US$15,744.4 million) was the export of oil and gas commodities. The export of oil and gas commodities were dominated by natural gas, while the export of non oil and gas commodities were dominated by manufacturing commodities.
