Socio-economic data, particularly data on aspects of public well being such as the adequacy of food, clothing, shelter, education, health, security, and employment are required to assess to what extent national development benefits the entire population. This book contains per capita consumption data of the 2006 Susenas Panel, published in providing the public with figures of consumption level and behaviour of the population during the survey year at national level. Consumption expressed in calories and grams of protein as well as some comparative data for 2004 and 2005 are also incorporated in this publication. Hopefully this publication can fulfill data needs, especially data related to the social welfare.
