Producer Prices Underwent Inflation of 0.64 Percent in Quarter II-2024

The general Producer Price Index (PPI) of the nine sectors in quarter II-2024 rose 0.64 percent against quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and increased by 0.01 percent against quarter II-2023 (y-on-y).

The PPI of the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing Sector in quarter II-2024 rose 2.50 percent against quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and increased by 8.31 percent against quarter II-2023 (y-on-y).

The PPI of the Mining and Quarrying Sector in quarter II-2024 increased by 0.14 percent compared to quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and decreased by 20.28 percent against quarter II-2023 (y-on-y).

The PPI of the Manufacturing Sector in quarter II-2024 rose 0.22 percent against quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and increased by 3.29 percent against quarter II-2023 (y-on-y).

The PPI for the Electricity and Gas Supply in quarter II-2024 rose 0.09 percent against quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and increased by 1.59 percent against quarter II-2023 (y-on-y).

The PPI for the Water Supply in quarter II-2024 rose 2.61 percent compared to quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and increased by 6.87 percent against quarter II-2023 (y-on-y).

The PPI for the Transportation Sector in quarter II-2024 increased by 2.01 percent against quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and rose 1.60 percent against quarter II-2023 (y-on-y).

The PPI for the Accommodation and Food Beverage Sector in quarter II-2024 increased by 0.98 percent and 2.93 percent compared to quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and quarter II-2023 (y-on-y), respectively.

The PPI for the Education Services sector in quarter II-2024 rose 0.28 percent and 7.29 percent against quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and compared to quarter II-2023 (y-on-y), respectively.

The PPI of the Health Services Sector in quarter II-2024 rose 0.42 percent against quarter I-2024 (q-to-q) and increased by 3.23 percent against quarter II-2023 (y-on-y).
