Abstract

  • Indonesia’s Gender Inequality Index (GII) value for 2023 was 0.447, lower than the previous year’s value by 0.012 points.
  • Improvements in all dimensions are the main contributing factor in the decline of Indonesia’s Gender Inequality Index (GII).
  • Spatially, gender inequality was notably decreased in most provinces of Indonesia.
