Abstract

Indonesia’s Gender Inequality Index (GII) value for 2023 was 0.447, lower than the previous year’s value by 0.012 points.
Improvements in all dimensions are the main contributing factor in the decline of Indonesia’s Gender Inequality Index (GII).
Spatially, gender inequality was notably decreased in most provinces of Indonesia.
