Producer Prices Underwent Inflation of 1.87 percent in the Third Quarter of 2021

• The combined Producer Price Index (PPI) of three sectors (Agriculture, Mining and Quarrying, and Processing Industry) in the third quarter of 2021 rose 1.87 percent against the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q) and rose 7.26 percent against the third quarter III-2020 (y-on-y).
• Agricultural Sector PPI in the third quarter of 2021 rose 1.00 percent against the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q) and rose 4.69 percent against the third quarter of 2020 (y-on-y).
• Mining and Quarrying Sector PPI in quarter III-2021 rose 12.78 percent compared to quarter II-2021 (q-to-q) and rose 47.76 percent against quarter III-2020 (y-on-y).
• Manufacturing Industry Sector PPI in quarter III-2021 rose 0.43 percent against quarter II-2021 (q-to-q) and rose 3.05 percent against quarter III-2020 (y-on-y).
• The PPI for the Electricity and Gas Procurement Sector in the third quarter of 2021 rose 0.03 percent compared to the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q) and fell 0.09 percent against the third quarter of 2020 (y-on-y).
• PPI for the Water Management Sector in the third quarter of 2021 rose 0.42 percent compared to the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q) and rose 1.27 percent against the third quarter of 2020 (y-on-y).
• The PPI for the Passenger Transport Sector in the third quarter of 2021 fell 0.40 percent against the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q) and rose 1.57 percent against the third quarter of 2020 (y-on-y).
• The PPI for the Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision Sector in the third quarter of 2021 rose 0.14 percent against the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q) and rose 0.69 percent against the third quarter of 2020 (y-on-y).
• The PPI for the Education Services Sector in the third quarter of 2021 rose 2.07 percent against the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q), while the third quarter of 2020 (y-on-y) rose 3.08 percent.
• Health Services Sector PPI in the third quarter of 2021 rose 1.05 percent against the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q) and rose 1.95 percent against the third quarter of 2020 (y-on-y).
