September 2021, General Wholesale Prices Index of Indonesia decreased 0.01%

In September 2021, the National General Wholesale Price Index (IHPB) decreased by 0.01% compared to August 2021. The decline in the IHPB occurred in the Agricultural Sector by 0.93%.

Some commodities that experienced price declines in September 2021 include cayenne pepper, broiler eggs, shallots, and salted/dried anchovies.

The IHPB change in the 2021 calendar year is 1.65% and the year-to-year IHPB change is 2.89%.

The IHPB for Building/Construction Materials in September 2021 rose by 0.29% compared to the previous month, partly due to the increase in commodity prices for iron concrete, building construction iron, steel roof trusses, PVC pipes, and asphalt.
