Abstract

  • The nominal wage of the worker / worker is the average daily wage received by the worker as a reward for the work done.
  • The real wages of workers / workers illustrate the purchasing power of income / wages received by workers / workers.
  • The real wage of farm laborers is the ratio between the nominal wage of farm workers and the rural household consumption index, while the real wage of construction workers is the ratio of nominal construction labor wages to the urban consumer price index.
  • The daily nominal wage of national farm laborers in June 2019 increased by 0.18 percent compared to the wages of agricultural laborers in May 2019, namely from Rp54,056.00 to Rp.54,152.00 per day. Real wages decreased by 0.39 percent.
  • The daily nominal wage of construction workers (artisans not foremen) in June 2019 rose 0.05 percent compared to May 2019 wages, ie from Rp88,664.00 to Rp88,708.00 per day. Real wages decreased by 0.50 percent.
