Abstract

  • Information and Communication Technology Development Index (ICT-DI) is a standard measurement that describe the level of development of information and communication technology on a certain region.
  • ICT-DI composed by 11 indicators that combined into a standard size of an area of ICT development. The higher the index value indicates an area of ICT development more rapidly, vice versa, the lower the value of the index shows the development of ICT in the region is still relatively slow.
  • ICT-DI is useful for comparing the development of ICT intertemporal and interregional. ICT-DI can show the digital gap as well as the potential for development and ICT development.
  • Indonesia ICT-DI in 2012 amounted to 4.24; in 2013 amounted to 4.50; 4.59 in 2014; and in 2015 amounted to 4.83 on a scale of 0-10.
