Abstract

The number of tourist arrivals (tourists) to Indonesia in September 2015 reached 869.2 thousand visits, increase 9.84 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in September 2014 that there were 791.3 thousand visits. Similarly, when compared with August 2015, the number of foreign tourists in September 2015 increase 2.19 percent.
The number of foreign tourists visiting through Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali in September 2015 increase 7.78 percent compared to September 2014, from 352.0 thousand visits became 379.4 thousand visits. Meanwhile, when compared to August 2015, the number of foreign tourists visiting through Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali decrease 27.04 percent.
The cumulative (January to September) 2015, the number of foreign tourists reached 7.19 million visits, up 3.53 percent compared to foreign tourists visiting the same period the previous year, amounting to 6.95 million visits.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star in 27 provinces in September 2015 reached an average of 56.26 percent, increase 2.05 points compared to September 2014 Room Occupancy Rate was recorded at 54.21 percent. If compared to Room Occupancy Rate August 2015, Room Occupancy Rate star hotel in September 2015 increase 0.65 points.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian in star hotels in 27 provinces during September 2015 stood at 1.96 days, an decrease of 0.06 points, when compared to the state in September 2014.
