During the opening the "Socialization of New Regulations on Types and Rates of non-tax state revenues (PNBP), BPS principal secretary, Imam Mahdi stated the significance of the event is to ensure that BPS customers and the data users understand the rights and obligations and all stakeholders adhered the rule.
In accordance to Law No. 16 of 1997, BPS has a mission to provide high-quality statistical data through integrated statistical activities that meet national and international standards by providing various statistical products.
After the Law Number 9 of 2018 on Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) issued, BPS was prompted to make changes to the applicable Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) regulations for BPS. The previous PP Number 7 of 2015 have now been replaced by PP Number 13 of 2024, effective from 14 March 2024.
During the panel discussion, there are speakers from Ministry of Finances, BPS Headquarters, BPS Training Centre and Politeknik Statistika STIS which deliver about the analysis of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP); ddissemination pproducts subject to Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) rates; competency tests for statisticians and IT Staff with Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) rates; Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) rates for Technical and Functional Training Services; and Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) rates for government-sponsored students and external study assignments.
The discussion session filled with enthusiastic participants, primarily BPS data users from various circles such as academics, businesses, and ministries/agencies.
