Jakarta - Acting Chief Statistician of the BPS-Statistics Indonesia, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, has officially inaugurated Dadang Hardiwan as the new Principal Inspector of the BPS. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the BPS Building 1, 10th Floor, on June 28th.
Dadang Hardiwan, formerly the Head of BPS Central Java Province, steps into the role previously held by Akhmad Jaelani. In her address, Amalia urged Dadang to focus on formulating strategic policies that enhance both technical performance and governance oversight.
During the event, Amalia also appointed then senior high-ranking officials at both central and regional levels, three heads of regency and municipality BPS offices, and twenty functional officials within the BPS. "I have high hopes that through this inauguration, BPS will make significant contributions to national development, each fulfilling their respective roles," Amalia stated.
