ABS Delegation Visit to Strengthens ABS-BPS Collaboration

Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, the Acting Chief Statistician of BPS-Statistics Indonesia, and the leadership team of BPS received a visit from a delegation representing the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) on Monday, April 30.

The delegation were the General Manager of Economy and Environment and Executive Sponsor of ABS-BPS Partnership, Jacqui Vitas, and International Relation Director, Michael Abbondante. The visit will last until May 3, 2024, with the main agenda of strengthening collaboration between BPS and ABS.

Moreover, throughout this visit, BPS had the chance to share perspectives on enhancing data quality, potentially paving the way for BPS to evolve into a more proficient National Statistics Office.
