Surabaya - BPS held a National Technical Meeting of the Provincial BPS Leaders in the City of Heroes on August 27-31, 2018 with the theme "Towards High Performance, Innovative and Collaborative HR". The activity held at the Shangri-La Hotel was opened by the Head of BPS, Kecuk Suhariyanto, (28/8).
Kecuk explained the importance of Rateknas to equate the move, equating synergy, evaluating, and preparing various BPS programs in the future. Communication between BPS (central) and regional BPS, as well as between provinces is an important key for advancing BPS.
While Acting East Java Provincial Secretary (Jatim), Jumadi, who was also present at the opening said, "Over the past ten years, BPS has been the main partner in building East Java." Various collaborations have been carried out between the East Java Provincial BPS and the East Java Provincial Government, including supporting measurement of regional performance and in the preparation of MSME data in East Java.
The opening ceremony of Rateknas is also unique by displaying traditional clothes worn by all participants throughout Indonesia. "This is the diversity that Indonesia has. This is Indonesia. This is us. Its very rich diversity consists of many religions, many tribes, and also languages. This diversity is something that we should be grateful for because this is a gift from Allah SWT and will be our capital in the future to continue to build our beloved nation, "said Kecuk when he saw the beautiful traditional clothes of each province worn by the Rateknas participants.
