Jakarta - "Cooperation between ministries is very necessary, so that no party utilizes the data to be misused. This agreement is a form of synergy and innovation in accordance with the core values of the Directorate General of Immigration," explained Ronny Frankie Sompie, Director General of Immigration Kemenkumham when opening the signing of the BPS Cooperation Agreement -Ditjen Immigration, (23/8).
Yunita Rusanti, Deputy of Distribution and Services Statistics who represented BPS claimed that she had been waiting for the initiation of the agreement related to the increasing variety of distribution and service data needed by the government, one of which was related to the data held by the Directorate General of Immigration.
"The data of workers, migrants and tourists currently available is incomplete, even though the need is high. Hopefully we can get data until the amount of expenditure, length of stay, and place of residence so that analysis related to tourists can be done more comprehensively," said Yunita eagerly.
Yunita added that cooperation is not only limited to information exchange. Moreover, the preparation of data communication systems and networks to present data that is not only accurate, but also on time, accessible online, and sustainable.
