BPS’ hard work to advance itself have been rewarded by some recognition. Four awards from the Ministry of Finance and one from the KemenPAN&RB are obvious evidences. However, as a saying "maintaining is harder than achieving", the BPS tasks will be even greater in the future. To maintain the achievement is a considerable challenge for BPS that takes strong commitment and motivation from all employees.

On 12 September 2014, BPS received the award of achievement in 2013 Financial Statements with highest standard of government accounting and financial reporting. The award was given directly by the Vice President Boediono who was accompanied by the Minister of Finance M. Chatib Basri, at Gedung Dhanapala of Ministry of Finance, in National Meeting of Government Accounting and Financial Reporting of 2013. The minister of finance concluded that there was some positive improvement in financial governance, shown by the commitment of the leaders of ministries/agencies and local governments to improve it and the better audit report opinion.

On 24 September 2014, at the same place, BPS received award for State Property Management (BMN) of 2013 for three categories. They were the second best for BMN Utilization, the third best for BMN Compliance and the most prestigious award Bandha Tadya Abiwada Utama for achievement in three consecutive years in state property management. The trophies was was received by the BPS Principal Secretary Eri Hastoto.

Meanwhile, on the same day, BPS also received an award at Vice President Palace for Grade B for Performance Accountability Report (LAKIP) of 2014 with increasing point from 65.20 in the past year to 70.50. Vice President Boediono stated that the award was an indicator of public institutions performance. The LAKIP is a measure of public service which is not only assessed by conventional way but also assessed for the policies and regulations issued. Boediono also stressed about balance between reward and penalty applied for assessing the performance.
